Our latest items:
The newest publication from the Acton Historical Society is a combination Cookbook and History book. It includes recipes from our past and present members and a special section on Hearth Cooking. It has recipes for you to try and a little background of what it was like to make a meal in Colonial Times. There is another section on cooking with the shortage of supplies during war time and the use of rationing stamps. You will find fun facts and ads of some of Acton's industries, some of which are still around. You can get a preview of the cookbook in this video produced by Acton TV. |
Our newest gift items are mugs featuring historic Acton scenes. Contact us for our current inventory. The mugs feature places and subjects that make great gifts for people of many interests. At the present time, we have mugs with:
Acton Center Scenes (Town Hall, Library, Monument) West Acton Scenes (Depot, Windsor Hotel, Churches) South Acton Scenes (Exchange Hall, Railroads, Factory) Acton Buildings (Town Hall, Exchange Hall) |
