Stories from Acton

Painter Annie (Hardy) Payson lived in Acton with her husband Arthur and sons Aurin, and Arthur Hardy from about 1904-1914. She not only painted but also taught painting in town.

A portrait unrelated to Acton led to the discovery of the singing Turner sisters who came from Georgia and lived for a time in Acton, Massachusetts.
